June 29, 2024 11:30am - 2:30pm
Free Admission

For men fighting on the front in the Pacific War, nothing was more terrifying than sustaining a serious injury or contracting a debilitating disease. Corpsmen, Nurses, and even scientists all played a part in developing care that helped to bring our boys back from the brink. Come to this Outpost program to learn about the scientific advances and hard work that helped so many GI’s survive their wounds. This program offers an up-close-and-personal opportunity for you to interact with and even handle real artifacts from the Pacific War!

Join us at the Nimitz-Platz on Main Street between 11:30-2:30. The Outposts are free and open to the public, there is no need for a ticket!
