Campaign Briefings

Profound tactical decisions, made in the heat of battle, shaped the path to victory in the Pacific.

During four Campaign Briefings each year, audiences have the chance to learn about the underlying decisions that shaped the campaigns and battles waged by U.S. Forces in the Pacific. At each program, the audience will hear about the big questions that outlined the event: Join us on June 17th, 79 years later, to examine the big questions of the battle: “Why did were we there?” “What happened during the fighting?” and “What was the result of the campaign?”.

Shortly after the living history actors of Company K have sketched the event, a short battle demonstration will begin. During the battle, you can expect to see blank firing weapons, simulated explosives, and a firing of our M2-2 Flamethrower.

Programs are offered at 11:00 and 2:00 with admission by donation.
