The NMPW education team was in Philadelphia for a conference and crossed the Delaware River to New Jersey to visit the Battleship New Jersey Museum. Curator Ryan Szimanski gave a very informative tour about the armament and communications systems on this historic WW2 Battleship. Bryan Degner, Educational Outreach Coordinator for the National Museum of the Pacific War, enjoyed the historical connections of the USS New Jersey and the Pacific War.
Special thanks to Ryan and the ship's staff for giving us this personal tour.
