At the Helen McDonald Admiral Nimitz Conference held at the National Museum of the Pacific War, Actors from the HBO miniseries, The Pacific, came together to share their experiences and answer questions from the audience. Hosted by comedian Ryan Kelly, actors Freddie Joe Farnsworth, Jacob Pitts, Josh Bitton and Scott Gibson shared behind-the-scenes stories and talked about how they trained for battle in the Pacific.

Arthur Beaumont: The Life of a Naval Artist
Geoffrey Beaumont, son of artist Arthur Beaumont, visited the National Museum of the Pacific war and presented a remarkable story about his father's life as a Naval artist. From his early struggles as an artist during the 1920's recession to his connections with Presidents, Admirals, Generals and movie stars, Arthur Beaumont most notably created incredible watercolor paintings of U.S. Navy ships at sea. Geoffrey Beaumont talks about the progression of Arthur's style and shares photos of his father at work with insights to many of his paintings through this pictorial presentation.
