Youth Programs

The National Museum of the Pacific War introduces youth to the values, innovations and experiences through youth programs such as drop-in STEM, Robotics, camps, and more! The museum is committed to providing innovative approaches to engaging young people in order to inspire them to learn more about the Pacific War and history.

Admiral Nimitz Summer Camp

Step into history this summer! In this exciting five-day camp, kids (ages 8–14) will explore the Second World War through hands-on activities, interactive challenges, and real WWII artifacts. Campers will undergo “boot camp," learn about wartime communications, propaganda, spy craft, and more. Through immersive storytelling and innovative activities, history will come to life like never before!

  • June 22nd-26th, 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • July 20th -24th 8:00 am - 2:30 pm

World War Tuesday Storytime

Join us the first Tuesday of every month at the Pioneer Library for storytime!

Homeschool Day

Every quarter, the National Museum of the Pacific War hosts a Homeschool Day! Learn all this and more with our innovative and engaging programs, complete with worksheets, games, crafts, and genuine WWII artifacts!

(Children ages 5 and up must purchase a ticket to attend. Children ages 4 and under may attend for free. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults DO NOT need to purchase a ticket.)
