Virtual Outreach
The National Museum of the Pacific War’s Virtual Learning Program brings the museum to your classroom through engaging on-demand virtual experiences. This immersive program brings history to life through engaging tours, artifacts, primary sources, and dynamic scene changes that captivate students’ attention.
Program Highlights:
- Tailored for Engagement: Special attention is paid to lesson pacing, scene transitions, and various learning styles to ensure an educational and engaging experience for all students
- Flexible Scheduling: Can't make the live sessions? All videos are available on-demand at any time, allowing for a more flexible integration into your curriculum
- Alignment with Standards: All lessons are aligned with National Standards and the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)
- Supplementary Materials: Each video comes with additional lessons and activities to reinforce learning
- Teacher's Best Friend: Our program is designed to support educators, offering a valuable resource for bringing World War II history to life in the classroom

Classroom & Community Outreach
Can't make it to Fredericksburg? That is not a problem! The National Museum of the Pacific War provides a variety of educational outreach opportunities aligned to the TEKS. Students will learn about World War II in the Pacific Theater and have the opportunity to interact with artifacts. For local schools/organizations, a minimum of 20 students is required, while schools outside of South Central Texas need at least 100 students to participate.
To ensure a successful and engaging outreach experience for your audience, we kindly request that you provide at least 30 days' notice when booking our in-person outreach programs. This advance notice allows us to prepare the necessary materials and tailor the program to your school or organization's specific needs. We look forward to bringing our exciting educational resources to your classroom!

Professional Development
The National Museum of the Pacific War is eager to collaborate with educators and support their professional development! Our education team offers in-person and virtual opportunities to present the museum's many resources at your school's professional development workshops.
