Doug Henderson, Assistant Curator at the Gurkha Museum, will guide us through this pivotal chapter of the war—from the 14th Army’s initial drive into Burma to the decisive battles of Meiktila and Mandalay, culminating in the capture of Rangoon. The program will also spotlight the remarkable heroism of Riflemen Lachhiman Gurung and Bhanbhagta Gurung, recipients of the final two Victoria Crosses awarded to Gurkhas in the Burma Campaign.
