World War II drove rapid innovation as militaries sought new solutions to the challenges of modern warfare. Advances in communication, weaponry, and equipment transformed how the war was fought and reshaped technology for decades to come.

This FREE Outpost program offers visitors an opportunity to explore technological innovation during the Pacific War. Guests can interact with real artifacts while learning how developments such as improved radios, weapons, and equipment influenced military operations and daily life during the war.

Outpost programs are educational, drop-in experiences held on select Saturdays on the Nimitz Platz at 340 E Main St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. Visitors of all ages are welcome to stop by, ask questions, and engage directly with history.
