Outpost: Hurry Up and Wait!

April 20, 2024 11:30am - 2:30pm
Free Admission

What were American Marines, Sailors, Soldiers, and Airmen doing when they weren’t on the battlefields of the Pacific War? For many GI’s, waiting for orders or the next big island invasion represented most of their time in uniform. Come to this FREE Outpost program to learn about the activities and distractions that kept our boys busy while they waited for their turn on the front line. This program offers an up-close-and-personal opportunity for you to interact with and even handle real artifacts from the Pacific War!

Join us at the Nimitz-Platz on Main Street between 11:30-2:30. The Outposts are free and open to the public, there is no need for a ticket!
