Join the National Museum of the Pacific War for our annual Day of Remembrance Program, held in the historic Nimitz Ballroom, commemorating the repeal of Order 9066. This event features two separate programs.

The morning program (10:00–11:00 a.m.) will explore the Japanese American military experience and includes a screening of the short documentary Honor and Sacrifice, followed by a presentation by Rob Buscher. Buscher’s presentation will focus on the stories of Roy Matsumoto and Sgt. Ben Kuroki.

The afternoon program (2:00–3:00 p.m.) will focus on the complex history of the Crystal City Camp, a local Texas camp, and its place in World War II history.
