Webinar: Voices of War: The NMPW Oral History Program 1993-present

November 24 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Missouri Athletic Club's Military History Club will be presenting a webinar that spotlights the Oral History Project at the National Museum of the Pacific War. NMPW Director of Archives Chris McDougal will make the presentation. NMPW has collected over 6000 oral histories of those who served in the military, supported from the homefront or otherwise had a life story to tell of their WWII experience. Of those 6000, about half are now digitized and accessible through the NMPW Digital Archives. Take a listen to an unusual oral history of Elizabeth "Betsy" Robinson (pictured here) who sang and danced with the USO in Pacific Islands during WWII.

Learn more about the Oral History Project during the webinar. Check back for details on tuning in to the free webinar.
