August Nimitz Junior Corps- East Meets West: The Japanese During WWII

Join the Nimitz Jr. Corps on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the National Museum of the Pacific War to learn about what life was like for Japanese and Japanese Americans during WWII. Children ages 8-12 will create origami, learn a few Japanese words, and find out what it was like to grow up in a Japanese internment camp.
Nimitz Jr. Corps is open free of charge to children ages 8-12 and runs from 1:00pm-3: 00 pm. Participation is limited to the first 15 registrants each session.
