Songs of the Patriot Temporary Exhibit

Songs of the Patriot takes viewers back in time to the American wartime fronts at home and abroad during World War II through the cover art and lyrics of popular sheet music from 1940 to 1945.

The Kakehashi Project, “Japan’s Friendship Ties Program”

The National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg Texas has once again been invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to participate in Japan’s Friendship Ties Program, KAKEHASHI.  This year 22 students from Texas will be selected, through a competitive process outlined below, to travel to Japan from June 24th -July 2nd, 2019.

Leadership Seminar

Texas Historical Commission Free Day

On Sunday May 5, The Texas Historical Commission (THC) will offer FREE admission to all 22 THC state historic sites, including the National Museum of the Pacific War

VOCES Oral History Project Workshop

A 2-hour oral history workshop will also be offered to teach you how to use different equipment, including a cell phone, to interview your own family and friends. We hope you will gain a new perspective into your family history as well as our collective historical narrative.

2nd Annual Robotics Competition

Students will be using Lego Mindstorm EV3 robotic kits and programming them to carry out certain missions as they Island Hop across the Pacific.
