George H.W. Bush Gallery The George H.W. Bush Gallery features a 33,000 sq ft state-of-the-art exhibit on the story of WWII in the Pacific and East Asia. From Pearl Harbor to Tokyo Bay, the epic story of the Pacific War is told here as nowhere else.
ADMIRAL NIMITZ MUSEUM The Admiral Nimitz Museum is located in the historic Nimitz Hotel on Main Street in downtown Fredericksburg, TX. Admiral Nimitz lived in the hotel, owned by his grandfather, during his early childhood.
PACIFIC COMBAT ZONE: PT BOAT The Pacific Combat Zone is a 3-acre indoor and outdoor exhibit area that features some of the Museum's most spectacular artifacts, including a fully restored WWII veteran PT Boat.
PLAZA OF PRESIDENTS The Plaza of Presidents is a striking outdoor tribute to the ten American presidents who served in the armed forces during WWII.
PACIFIC COMBAT ZONE: INVASION BEACH The Pacific Combat Zone occupies a 3-acre site and showcases the museum's large artifacts in thier unique environments, including an invasion beach with landing craft and artillery.
JAPANESE GARDEN OF PEACE The Japanese Garden of Peace, a gift from Japan to honor Admiral Nimitz for his wise administration and his respect for the Japanese people and their culture in the post-war years, provides an oasis for reflection.
MEMORIAL COURTYARD The Memorial Courtyard is ringed by beautiful old limestone walls that hold plaques honoring the contributions of individuals, ships and units during the war in the Pacific.
